In a year such as this has been, a healthy organisation would look to openly discuss its problems, resolve them and face the coming year’s General Election.
Ways must be found to restore the faith of the public (and Party Members) in our elected representatives, without forgetting that there is real economic danger which will not just go away.
In short, this should be the year in which Conference demonstrates that it is indispensable to the democratic functioning of the Party - and the Party shows how it has the only credible solutions to the country’s problems.
