Save the Labour Party
ABOUT US
1.  To promote genuine democratic participation and policy development between ordinary Labour party members, affiliated organisations and the Party leadership, together with maintenance and strengthening of the trades union link.
2.  To promote a review of contemporary Labour Party structures and processes with the aim of ensuring that key decisions are made by Party members and affiliates through a genuine democratic process.
3.  To work to restore to the National Executive of the Labour Party, full consideration and promotion of the contemporary political agenda, and effective control of the organisation and financial structures of the Labour Party in the UK.
STLP is a voluntary association of Labour Party members. It was constituted in Birmingham in July 2003, launched in London in September 2003, and held its first AGM in Manchester in November 2003. It has attracted members from the left, centre and right of the Labour Party who all share a commitment to democratic socialism. Click here for a copy of the Constitution

It is managed by a committee of eight elected members, with one place reserved for a Youth member, and up to four co-opted members.
