| Save the Labour Party |
| National Committee - 2005 Candidate Election statement Stefan Cholewka STLP must not fail to begin from the intolerable situation created by Blair. Blair has made it clear that he will carry on and that he will not follow another policy. When LP members and voters oppose Blair's policy, the policy must be changed, if he claims that there is no other policy, then it is the leader that must go. It is up to STLP to say: " Blair is destroying the party and leading it to defeat". The obstacles do not come from trade unionists and LP members, they come directly from Blairšs policies and the dispirited Labour left MPs. They transmit a refusal to fight to the rank and file. Our starting-point must be: "No-one can accept the Party being led to defeat. Blair is the one who is organising this! We must save the Labour party. Blair is no longer believed by the party or the voters". |
