Guest speaker at 2.00 pm: “The future of the relationship between the Labour Leadership and Labour’s Grassroots” 5. Reports: Chair’s Report (including report on recent political meetings and pamphlet). 6. Secretary’s Report 7 Treasurer’s Report 8. Discussion on the aftermath of the June 2004 election results. 9. The new umbrella group and preparations for Annual Conference 2004-debate. 10. Towards a Commission on Party Renewal (STLP AGM resolution 2003). 11. Report of work with the Electoral Commission about state funding and transparency relating to Labour Party membership decline. 12. Interim constitutional changes relating to membership of STLP Committee (Scottish, Welsh and Youth representatives). 13. Elected Party Chair (resolution coming to 2004 Annual Conference from Manchester Central CLP). 14. A workshop - style discussion on how we can improve and increase locally/regionally based STLP activities. 15. Next meetings 18/9/04 in Manchester and 25/9/04 in Brighton - with star speakers. 16. Any other urgent business VENUE - HOW TO GET THERE Carrs Lane Church Centre is 7 minutes walk from Birmingham New St. Station. Bear left out of station. Head for the Rotunda (circular high rise), bear left at base of Rotunda into High St. 150 yards along High St turn right into Carrs Lane. Church centre is on left 100yards down the street. From Digbeth Coach Station - head for Moor St Station, cross the dual carriage way and Carrs Lane is 200 yards on the right and clearly visible.
