Minutes - click here 1 October 2003 - Labour Party NEC presents Annual Report to Conference confirming membership at the end of 2002 had fallen to less than 250,000 below the level reached as membership picked up prior to Tony Blair, MP's election as Leader of the Labour Party. No debate allowed. 29 September 2003 - Labour Party Conference Arrangements Committee (CAC) rules Hackney North & Stoke Newington CLP Emergency motion on Membership out of order. Earlier CAC ruled contemporary motion from Stafford CLP out of order. 20 September 2003 - STLP launched in London with Prof. Sir Bernard Crick, Ann Black and Jeremy Corbyn MP as keynote speakers. Minutes - click here 19 July 2003 - Constitution passed in Birmingham following debate about aims of organisation which resulted in agreement to concentrate on the Labour Party's structures and processes, not its policies.
